Does anyone know anything about an area called Pavlodar?

Pavlodar is a small industrial city in the far north of the country. It's not a very large town or one with many resources or things to do. It's also very cold in the winter, like -30 to -40C. The capital, Astana, is 500km away. In general, if you've been offered a job in Pavlodar I would turn it down, it's pretty remote.

Thanks for the info. I had already decided to turn it down before even looking into it much for unrelated reasons. It is a little bit of a relief to know that I don't need to regret it as much.
