Injured cat who do you call?

Came across a cat in the road near me. It had been hit by a car and its back legs were damaged and it could not move. It is concious but I don't know what I can do. Who do I call? Practical suggestions please.

Call dr Lana, she runs open paws, you'll find her number at https://www.facebook.com/Open.Paws.
If you can take the cat and have her dropped at her veterinary clinic.

Best of luck to both of you.

Just to add to that, Dr Lana has been looking for volunteers!

Is anyone interested in volunteering an hour or so to giving some TLC to some cats at a cat shelter? The cats have been rescued by the vet who takes them to her clinic --cleans them up, neuters them and then looks after them until someone comes to take one home.

In the meantime, she would like some help socialising them with people and just doesn't have the time. Therefore would like some volunteers to go stroke/ pat / play and be with the cats.

If you are interested please email Lana at : [email protected]

She is located near Sahara Mall.

For more info please check out the FB page : Openpaws Riyadh

Thank you for the information. When I went back the cat had gone. I guess I will never know what happened to it. If only people would drive better these things would be a lot less common.

if only people would take care of their animals, there wouldnt be cats on the street.

I'm guessing it was the truck street sweeper that sweeps the cat out of the road...
kudos for helping the injured cat... :|

So there's a cat mowing since yesterday in the valley beside my apartment but I can't enter there, if any one know any number or organisation please tell me.
Thank you.
