Hi,

Please provide me with the basic cost of utilities:

Cable T.V or satellite?
Water?
Electricity?

and any other utiltity needed....and are there deposits involved in acquiring services for the first time.

dude, all the utilities you asked for come free of charge with your apartment upon renting. water and electricity are by agreement, either the landlord pays em or u do, if they do they charge u more, the amount is minimal at best anyway, so opt to pay it yourself.

as for satellite tV, all buildings now have a centralised system, that gets you NileSat & Arabsat, with the MBC, Fox & Dubai channels in English. if you wish to go for other options check www.osn.com

or simply get a dreambox and unlock all channels,
