Hi,
I am looking at purchasing an apartment in RJ zona sul with windows facing NW (sol poente). What are your thoughts on this? Will resale be harder because of this orientation? Does anyone live in an apartment with NW facing windows? How hot does it get inside? Do you regret choosing to live there?

our 3 story duplex/house faces NW. Too hot 6-8 months a year. August and September are great.
I agree with @Jrav8, and as @Abthree has previously stated, you really need to be south of Sao Paulo for the north orientation to be of benefit not hindrance.
And, @Randy G, Brazilians ALWAYS prefer a nascente home to a poente one, and the resale price and demand is bound somewhat to reflect this.
