Process on how to register your Bahrain Car to travel to KSA by land

Hello, I am looking for a similar thread but i still can't find the right answer.

We have recently applied for KSA visa and would like to know the process on how to register our car to travel by land to KSA. Is there a specific website or do we have to apply through our local insurance company? Also, the car is under my friends name as he does not have any driving license. So I (female driver) will be driving to KSA back and forth. Is it possible for me to drive without the owner of the car?

1) He has to give permission to the driver under the traffic.bh app - authorization for causeway

2) Buy 3rd party insurance on the app or at the united insurance booths on the right side........prior to causeway toll booths
