As many people know since Brexit UK Nationals are considered non-EU Citizens for residency purposes. I and my wife arrived in Cyprus in September 2022 and completed our residency application and were issued our ARC in October 2022.
We are in the process of renewing our temporary residency for later this year. We were aware that applications for temporary residency from January 2023 require a Police Certificate and a health screen for non-EU Citizens. We were not sure if this applied to renewals.
I have had it confirmed that if you had your temporary residency prior to January 2023 then on renewal you are not required to provide a Police Certificate or undergo any Health screening.
