I am British, and I am now living in Spain. I am currently in Mallorca.

About me

I am a 62 year old grandmother who did the crumbly Brit thing and retired to Mallorca to sit in the sun and get fat.  So far successful in both enterprises.

I started writing only when I arrived here as I could no longer plead "no time" (I had rather a lot of jobs in the UK to ensure I ate/paid mortgage/appeared with clothes on.

I play drums and dance with a Carnival Band in the UK and appear at Notting Hill Carnival each year on the principle that it is good for you to dress up in a big frock and dance down the middle of the road making a big noise just once a year.

One Significant Other - hopefully the last of a line of somewhat unsuccessful relationships with men, two grown children and two meltingly lovely grand-daughters.

My birthday is on 29 December, I was born in 1945
