I am Roy, I am a hotel Services Manager working in the Oil Industry offshore. I am from Scotland and have lived in Rio de Janeiro for the past ten years. I have two wee boys. I have a nice apartment in a condominium in Recreio. I love Brazil, I love the people, I love the way of life, I love everything about normal life here, the annoying things are, paying taxes and seeing no return for it, the bureaucracy which slows everything official down to almost a grinding halt, the violence is not as bad as people make out, but you have to be aware of what is going on around you.
