Introduction
We're a software developer and a novelist, expats from 2007 to 2012, when we lived in Scotland. We've since returned to California, with visits to Scotland and other places we might like to retire (Iceland, Norway, Chile).

Lived in Glasgow for the first 4 years. Now moved to Stirling, after finishing at Glasgow Uni.
Glasgow has lots of good museums and can be beautiful. Stirling is a lot quieter, and has the castle!
Glasgow is noisy and rather filthy. Stirling is a bit on the "wee" side, and we haven't found as good of a choir yet.
