Mary Mocanu

I am an American married to a Romanian and living in Deva. I have been living here for about three years now and I absolutely love it here! Professionally I have been working as a freelance bookkeeper (although I have many other skills) and my husband is a freelance translator. We are hoping to find some more stable work which will allows the necessary finances to not only get by but to move around this beautiful country more freely. I am an amateur photographer and am currently working on a photo journal of Transylvania. Unfortunately project hasn't progressed as much as I would like due to the above problems. At this moment we are planning on remaining in Romania indefinitely although we may move to another EU country if my husband would find some work there.
