I am not yet an expatriate, but I am looking for information about life abroad.

I am Australian, and I would like to live in Indonesia. I am currently in Cairns.

About me

I am Andra, currently living in Cairns but I spend a lot of time in Bali and have just found a great property outside Ubud.  Maybe, just maybe, I can purchase it and come and retire soon.  It seems pretty tricky but it just might work.
I have just come back from Bali last week and will return with my son and his family in a couple of weeks to have another look at the property. 
Any help anybody can give me will be most appreciated.
