I am American, and I am now living in Kenya. I am currently in Kisumu.

My path

About me

My family is living and in Western Kenya. My husband and I work for and NGO that researchers development projects to assess if they are actually accomplishing what they set out to do. We also have a lively and now fully bilingual (Swahili and English) and another on the way. We are an unusual breed of expat. We're not missionaries motivated by faith. We're not embassy workers cloistered in capital cites. We're not young unattached adventure-seekers starting their career as underpaid aid workers. We occupy a space somewhere in between all of that. I'm looking to connect with other expats who might share similar struggles, joys and adventures.
