Introduction
I currently reside in Northeastern North Carolina, originally from New England. I have a daughter away at University 😩. We try to spend time together exploring the area, sometimes getting some much needed sun at the beach in the summertime or hiking up in the mountains enjoying the cool fall temps. I'm here hoping to meet and make new friends. It's nice to meet people with the same interests, but it is also nice to learn something new.

Expat experience
Currently living here with my daughter, attending school, working full-time for a large defense contractor. I spend as much time as I can volunteering at my daughter's school, from helping out in the classroom, taking care of school grounds, to driving kids to and from school field trips, sporting events. My daughter attends a small private school where they rely heavily on parent participation, to help keep costs down.
Not much! I'm a transplant from Connecticut, things move at a much slower pace down here.
I'm ready for a change!
