Expat experience
I moved to Milan to attend an MBA. In the meantime I also met my future husband who I married and as a result moved to Rome where he works.

Winter weather ( no sun!)
Attended grade 12 to finish off high school before moving to Toronto for university
Amazingly friendly people, by far the friendliest of any of the 7 cities I have live din so far!

I was in high school in Dubai, finishing my O Levels.
I grew up mainly in Bahrain, moved to Dubai in Grade 9.
Bahrain was full of friendly locals and expats.
I was born there, but moved to Bahrain immediately after. Although I did spent a few months back in Mangalore during the first Gulf War when my parents decided to send me back for security reasons.
Wonderfully tropical climate, delicious tropical fruits and veggies and amazing cuisine!
