My name is Brad and I am currently living in Manizales, Colombia! (since July 15th, 2016). Moved here from Crystal River, FL, where I still have a home. I am a newbie here and have met a few Americans that are gladly showing me the ropes! They have helped me tremendously finding my way around the city and directing me where I need to go. Love it so far, but a big change from small town living!

Expat experience
Just got here 7/15/16 and settling in! Bought a car, found a house to rent, enrolled the kid in school, and none of which was an "easy" process. Taking it one "slow Colombian" step at a time!
Floridian all my life! Got the heck out of there, leaving my 15 year career as a Law Enforcement Deputy, before I lose my sanity!! By the way...How's the record breaking, sweltering heat???
