Hello, I work in special education for visually-imapired students in northern California. A few years ago I met a Buddhist Lama who developed Tibetan Braille and is associated with a monastery in Pokhara, Nepal. After learning of the social barriers and lack of necessary services for blind persons in Nepal, I've become very interested in living & working there. I'm hoping to move to Nepal summer 2011 if I can locate an organization where my services could be of use. I'm very happy to have found this expat community online!
