Introduction

I am from the UK but living in Thailand for 30 months. I will be retiring to Bali Sanur by end of August this year. I have rented accommodation in hand and fulfil all visa requirements. I am an ex career British soldier with plenty of need for adventure and a better way of life.

Expat experience

Since December 2012

Pattaya, Thailand

Climate. Cheaper living. Local food.

The Pattaya scene. Traffic. Noise. garbage everywhere. Complaining expats. Attitude of some local people to expats. Stressful experience.
