Hi, My name is Georgia. My husband and I live near Anchorage, Alaska. We are finding ourselves tired of the long winters and snow (shoveling especially!). I have a back and neck injury and can't keep up with it as I used to. Our children are grown and we are contemplating moving to Panama for retirement...in about a year. Maybe Pedasi... We are conservative and are disgusted with what has happened to our economy, I know that Obama just took office but we are seeing clearly what he intends to do with our hard earned money. We have already lost a great deal of our retirement in the stock market. We love the ocean, the climate and outdoor activities from hiking and swimming to fishing. Can you tell me what it is like there for you? Where on the Pacific side of Panama is best to live? ie; beaches, people and ammenities. Where to go (on the net)to see the best real estate? I am looking foreword to hearing what you have to say and get as much info as I can. We just returned from St. Lucia, had a great time but I kind of wish we had come to Panama.
