Introduction

Husband originally from Mauritius, we have been together in England for many years. He has now got a job in Mauritius so my little girl and I came and joined him at the end of last year.

Expat experience

Since November 2010

Trou aux Biches, Mauritius

Unpacking boxes from my move.

Weather and beaches.

Not many organised things to do with little children.

Travelling all around Australia as and when possible.

The laid back lifestyle. The lack of traffic jams. Discovering new places.

Being so far from friends and family.

Nottingham, England

The mix between town and countryside. Having everything on our doorstep. Also having a great network of friends and family.

The long cold winters. Driving in the snow and fog.
