I founded Dhabian Equestrian Club in 2007. My adventure in horse rescuing had started 2 years prior in the garden of my villa in Khalifa city 'A' in 2005. From this rescue, a life commitment emerged and one rescue led to another and before I knew it, I had 12 horses in the garden.......​ Obviously 12 horses were a lot so, I decided to build stables at our farm in Rahba and named the club after my favorite horse Dhabian. To date DEC has over 40 horses and my team and I will still, not say "No" to any horse in need of a second chance. As I always say: "if it has a heartbeat then we will take it in and try and save its life". For those of you who have stayed the course with us over the years, I thank you. 2014 also marks the year we rebranded and transitioned from a "family-run bundle of fun" to a full-fledged operational organisation run by family and community. We have properly organised ourselves to better serve our both human and equestrian communities. With your help, we will always keep moving forward.
