Introduction

I am from Singapore working as an Assistant Facilities Manager. I wil be married in 12days time. I am really looking for a place to move as I do not find any freedom or peace in my own country in 2-3 years time. I am looking for an Islamic country to move in and loves to have more interaction with the nature.

Expat experience

Since June 1987

Singapore, Maldives

Staying with parents in 4 room HDB flat.

Singapore is a safe and clean country.

Singapore is an expensive cost of living country. No freedom to speak. Strictly by the government rules and regulations. For Muslim, we are not allowed to work in certain industries with wearing hijab. No freedom for prayers time. Living in Singapore is all about money. At the age of 60, will still be able to see the elder working.Unable to retire due to high cost of living.

Currently still looking for a good or proper location to stay in after my marriage. Shall be moving in with future husband.

Very peaceful place. Away from busy city. Have the freedom to speak. It is a Muslim country.

I have never been there. I have no comment on this.
