Expat experience
I am currently living here, in Bahrain. I love getting to know the Arabian culture and learning the rich history of the area.

Not much to do without spending allot of money.
I lived in Hanoi Viet Nam for 2 years. My parents were teaching for an international school there. I also went to the same international school's middle school. This was my first time living in a different country. At first I didn't really like it. It was so different and really hard for me to leave my old life behind and all the people in it. By the second year I got to like it and now that I have left I miss it as well and the people I met there.
I loved the food there, and the whole craziness of Viet Nam.
Being away from friends and family
I was born in Albuquerque New Mexico in the United States. I lived there 11 years before moving to Viet Nam. Before that I had only gone out of the country one time, to visit my cousins in Germany.
It was my home
