I am Caryl. I am traveling to Nicaragua for a few weeks in May to get an overview of the country, and then plan to return to live for at least a few months commencing in August. I am not sure where I want to live, except that I prefer a semi-rural environment with privacy and views, and would like to live above 2000 feet elevation. I'll be retired, but plan on continuing to perform some consulting work, so I will need internet access. I want to garden and maybe do a small farm. I am considering trying this without a vehicle, but I am basing that on the assumption that I can use public transportation and/or private drivers. Is this unrealistic?
