My name is Edmond Chicheko. l am from a small growth point (town) called Mubaira in Zimbabwe. I have been a teacher for the past twenty years. l have been a teacher for history, geography and Social Sciences. I have taught in Zimbabwe, South Africa and currently in the Maldives. I am currently employed as a teacher at Billabong EPS High International school in Male, Maldives. I am responsible for teaching History, Geography and Global perspectives. The school follows the IGCSE curriculum. I have taught in Zimbabwe for fifteen years from 1993 to 2008 and in South Africa for four years from 2009 to 2013. I am open to new opportunities and challenges that may avail themselves. In 1990 l enrolled for a B.A. General Degree in History, Economic History and Philosophy. I graduated in 1992 with a B.A. Honours Degree in Economic History. I obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in teaching from the Harare Polytechnic College 1998. I also obtained a Diploma in Library and Information science and a Diploma in Public Relations from the Harare Polytechnic College in 1996. I am currently in the process of registering for a Masters degree in Education management with the University of South Africa. I attended multiracial schools where l benefited immensely from the diverse cultural backgrounds of my school mates. I have taught in public and private schools in Zimbabwe, South Africa and currently at an international school in the Maldives. I have also taught Business Communications and Public Relations at tertiary level for the London Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI) and the Institute of Marketing Management (IMM) examination boards.
