French Touch Mom
French Touch Mom is written by three French moms who live in the Greater Vancouver area. We wanted to share what it is like to be a French mom raising kids in Vancouver, why we love being expat moms in Vancouver, and how we deal with the difficulties of raising kids far from our families.

This is a four-lingual blog, so you'll be able to post thoughts in English, French, Italian and, of course, in Romanian! This is why I used Rosetta Stone as avatar. But I converted the blog in such a way for all to be able to express ideas and thoughts in the four languages mentionned above.

Love Every Second
At 27, I won’t pretend to be old or wise enough to say I’ve got it all figured out. In fact, I don’t think that day will ever come, but what I have learnt is that no matter how difficult things can seem the trick is to find a little joy in each of life’s challenges. No one has ever said that following your heart is easy, but when you are being true to yourself and to those around you, the world has a way of giving you a helping hand. I met a girl on a beach in Rio who once said to me, “At first the world whispers to you what you need to do, and then it says it a little louder. If you still don’t listen then it shouts it at you, all you have to do is listen”. I have to be honest, at first I thought this girl had been in the sun for too long, but over the next few months things unfolded in a way which made those words echo inside me, and once I’d ‘tuned in’ to the world, things began to fall into place in the most magical way! It hasn’t all been a bed of roses since then, but I can honestly say, for all the lessons that I’ve learnt and the joy that I’ve felt, I have loved every second. This blog shares the lessons and the joy that I learn and experience each day of my life in Vancouver.
