The African Expatriate
Narrating the story of the "BRAIN GAIN" movement back to Africa". The African Expatriate is a refreshing perspective on what it feels like to live and work in Africa. Our goal is to share exciting stories on the positive changes which "Returnees", and African Expatriates are creating on the Continent, and in doing so, encourage African professionals in the Diaspora to consider the prospect of returning home to live and work

Oslo to Cape Town for love
The title of my blog reflects the path that I have undertaken from Norway to South Africa to live with my Cape Townian husband. I aim to "put pen to paper" about how it is to start in a brand new place - with all the challenges and magical moments that follows.

Blairadise
A blog about an American girl, who fell in love with a South African boy. They married and had a baby. She reads and crafts. He starts new hobbies. The little one, she's just learning to walk. Blairadise is the realm of paradise in which we live.

A Polish born, Polish/South-African/UK bred former lawyer and law lecturer living in Cape Town who has recently started a relocation company- Move Me To Cape Town (www.movemetocapetown.co.za)- to help others move to and settle into Cape Town life.I also blog on life in Cape Town, parenthood and anything else that I happen to think of: www.expat-ish.blogspot.com.

A Home Away From Home
I'm a 24 year-old grad student born and raised in sunny southern California, but currently living in Johannesburg, South Africa. As you may imagine, I have a passion for travel, culture, food and all things international. As an undergrad I majored in International Studies at CLU and during this time I was lucky enough to study abroad for not one, not two, but THREE semesters (one of the perks of the major). During my Sophomore year I spent a Semester at Sea and then went on to spend two semesters in Stellenbosch, South Africa during my Junior and Senior years. As life would have it, while studying in the Rainbow Nation I fell in love with a "local" and I'm sure anyone who doesn't already know the story can very well predict what happens next... In January 2010 I decided to take the plunge and re-locate to Johannesburg to not only be closer to the boy, but also to continue my studies (here) and conquer my (almost) life-long dream of living overseas. So far it's been nothing short of an adventure with plenty of unexpected twists and turns along the way. My blog is not only an outlet for me to keep friends and family updated, but also a way for me to document my not so ordinary life as it happens and provide others with a somewhat informative and often times humorous account of what life is like being a foreigner in a place so far away from home.

Road To South Africa
I am a Finnish girl in my twenties, I have travelled the world and in some unexplained way I ended up moving to South Africa. I am currently living in Mpumalanga and trying my best to adjust to my new home country. This blog is about my new life in SA, in better and for worse.
