I am a 27-year old American expat housewife living in Australia. I’m also a woman of an opinion. I’ll be writing about life in Australia, living abroad, and telling you what I think about pretty much anything that I feel like talking about.

I'm 28 and from America. I moved to Melbourne in January 2012 to be with my Australian fiance. I've lived abroad before, but this is my first permanent move. I'm not very social, but I reckon making a few friends probably wouldn't hurt. I'm not very athletic (actually I'm a total klutz), but I enjoy physical activities like cycling and hiking. I'm always on a diet, but I love baking and usually try to pawn off my goodies on other people so they will get fat instead of me. I've been singing for years, even though I have no sense of rhythm. I love fantasy books, but if someone attacked me with a sword in real life, I'd probably cry like a baby (actually I did cry when I was hit with a Nerf sword). I once owned my own business and often think up new business ideas, even though I never learned the first thing about accounting. I always win at any game involving luck, unless there is money involved. I'm a decent shot with a handgun, even though my eyesight is so bad that I can't drive at night. I don't drink coffee or alcohol and I don't smoke, but I do love Chapstick and sarcasm and can't get enough of either one. They are my only vices.
