After her last blog was driven off the scene by an evil local, Charlie is back with a new and different outlook on life in small town Italy. The names may have changed, but the scenery is the same. Welcome to the life I chose to live, which is really all just figs and lemons.

In March 1999 I went to visit some friends in Italy. I still haven't left, I sort of got trapped into staying. One day I hope to escape.

  • Hi Charlie,

I personally grew up in the USA for the most part of my life. I was born in Naples, Italy, I have moved back to Europe recently and left Naples to go work in the UK. However I too am choosing things like great food, weather and wonderful people over the path of a career, miserable weather and so on...I want to live La Dolce Vita live life for the things that matter most for things money cannot buy!

    • Hi Charlie,
What a delight to read your blog and take in the beautiful pictures. My family and I would like to visit the Amalfi Coast or the Cilento in August, early September. We are a Swiss-American-German family looking to exchange our beautiful 3- bedroom home on a lake outside of Munich with a friendly family in your region.
If you know anybody who is interested in home exchanging I would very much appreciate if you could pass on this information. Thank you so much!
