Hello,

Some of us on the French forum are trying to organise regular football. https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=476705

Nothing too serious, just for fitness and socialising. We're looking at possibly midweek in the midlands and weekends in the north. Nothing fixed as yet.

Anyone interested.

I would be interested when I arrive in December. I will be staying in Albion, so I am not sure if that works location wise or not. I am happy to drive a bit.

It hasn't got off the ground yet and I've been a bit busy to follow up. I was playing in Vacoas at the SMF ground (they close for 'winter' and I think re-open in October and also had a look at a floodlit pitch at the MFA in Trianon. Both are near the motorway so fairly reasonable to drive to. The latter had a free grass pitch on Sunday 18:00 for an hour and a half and was MRU 1,500 from what I recall. Keep in touch nearer your arrival and I'll give you an update.
