I am a Canadian citizen engaged to an American citizen & I was wondering how hard/easy it is for us to marry in Canada?
What is the process? Can we move here, get married & stay? What legal documents are required? How long does it take?
Who can I contact for reliable information?

Congratulations first of all.

It may require assistance from a lawyer. I am a UK citizen who married a Canadian 8 years ago. At the time, there was a lot of work to sort out and we got married in NY state ( Niagara). This was straightforward. Lot of this may have changed in the last 8 years.
