I have a query regarding the ban in Oman.
I have been working in Oman for 8 years and I got exit on another job in India on May 23rd 2014 before the ban rule came into effect.
Now since I am getting good opportunities from Oman, I would like to know whether the ban is applicable and whether it will affect my entry to the country. I left the company which I was working with before July 1st 2014.
can anyone help me out ASAP. .

Hi Deebij,

Since you left the Sultanate before the rule came into effect, you would be exempt from the 2-year ban rule.

But there have been cases when those who left even earlier were disallowed from coming back.

There is nothing carved on stone about this rule, and all the other rules as well. Try your luck.
