How to get a drivers license here

Hi,
I just recently moved from the US to namibia with my 16 year old son. We are living in swakop and really like it here. Just curious to see if anyone knows how to get a drivers license here.

You can't officially get a license but can drive on the US one if your home state gave you one. Worst case scenario they demand a bribe, as they usually do. really, anyone can drive at any age, and without documents. The fee $1-5 is usually there regardless if everything is in order or not
