Transferring money into Bulgarian bank

We are moving to Bulgaria and we need a bank that will be the best to deposit the money from our house sale in the UK. We have heard that the Bulgarian banks charge a% of the amount transferred not a flat fee. Are there any banks that charge a flat rate? Lesley

Look up UniCredit Bulbank, all banks in BG recently started charging when you withdraw money at the branch (ATMs are still free) but it's a very small percentage but again that's for withdraws only not deposits.

We see you are from Merthyr Tydfil, we are from Chepstow in South Wales and live near Burgas.
Don't know where you live in Bulgaria but you might find the Fibank in Burgas quite useful. it's the one we use.
They have English speaking staff and are more than willing to help. Regards, Roff.
