I am going to need to put in a 2,000 ft road to my property off of Hummingbird. I am not planning on paving it, but I need a good road bed. I have been quoted a price of $9/ft (US) for a real road bed. Does anyone have any experience with this, know of a reputable person to do it, or have any idea about average costs. I have never had to put in a road before.

There are a lot of other contractors available in Belize that are not on the list here. I recommend Erix Tobar with Tobar builders. It does not have the snazzy marketing and money to spend on that. He invests in his equipment and crew. But he is fantastic to work with, reasonably priced and has a fantastic reputation.
