Praslin to Mahe commute.

I'm in the process of trying to find work in the Seychelles, and if all goes well, me and my GF will be living in Praslin, (nothing set in stone yet, but I thought i'd research anyway).  I was wondering if it was feasible to live on Praslin, and commute to Mahe,  hopefully with a temporary residency permit. I hear you get discounts on travel with one of those.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.
