Cost of living in Malawi – 2015

I live in Blantyre for the last 42 years . The only thing that has gone down is petrol
Most of your questions do not apply to Malawi !
In general the prices have gone to the roof .
I am glad I do not have children at school
Schools are incredibly expensive !!!
If you are coming to Malawi and you have to pay for schools think about it
Also I understand in Lilongwe rents are very high
We can now get everything in the shops but at a price

There is a movie place called M-Theatres in Blantyre at Chichiri Shopping Mall.The price of movie tickets is MWK 3000 for adults and MWK 2000 for kids.

DSTV installation this year (January 2016) and Compact Package cost me MWK 73900 while Internet installation (SkyBand Residential/Night Rider Package) cost me MWK 120624.
