Looking for hotel recommendations in Bogota or Medellin

Hi, I'm considering moving to Colombia and in October I'm taking a trip down to Bogota or Medellin.

I've done some research, but I want others opinions on the best hotels for a cheap price range.

For Bogota I found a place called Hotel Santa Barbara Real.

For Medellin I found a place called Casa Victoria.

Let me know what your opinions are or if you have suggestions for decent hotels that aren't too expensive (probably under $100 per night).

Hi Kevin, You may consider also the IBIS Hotel of the Accor Group in Bogota right beside the National Museum and near to the center. 63 USD /day... clean and modern ibis.com/es/booking/hotels-list.shtml

in Bogota you also can stay at Charlies Place Hotel in North Bogota

bed and breakfast 65 USD
Standard deluxe 105 USD

in Medellin
you also can stay at Prado 66
40 USD the rooms are clean is very pretty place the owner is from Germany.
