Depends where you go in south sudan.
Juba is not bad but you have to be aware of your surroundings and where you are especially if you are female and it is after dark.
Driving is a nightmare and if you have an accident you are automatically in the wrong whether that is true or not.
When I was there most of our security problems where the SPLA soldiers who were supposed to be guarding us.
