"PR" version of websites

Many websites that I go to display the Spanish-language PR version of the website and URL by default.  For example I'm trying to go to the Google Store and no matter what I put in the browser, it takes me to https://store.google.com/?hl=es-419 -- which you can see is Spanish language, for Puerto Rico.
1. I can try to "force" type in https://store.google.com/, but it will still change to https://store.google.com/?hl=es-419
2. Incognito window doesn't work.
3. Changing the Region settings on Google Search doesn't fix it either
4. And yes I can force Google Chrome to "Translate page", but that's not a real fix, it's a jerry-rig

Surely there's a setting I can change so I can go to US websites by default?  Thank you
I had the same issue with the Google store. They told me it's that way by design because they don't consider PR part of the US and the products they will sell to this market are different. Hence the different web site.

The only solution is using a VPN to "mask" your location.

BTW, this is not exclusive to Google. Had same issues linking Pandora to Fitbit, for example.

Very frustrating.
You need a VPN wherein you fool Google etc. with a US IP address. When I log on or restart my computer, I activate the VPN where I have selected Miami as the 'home location' for my computer. It then switches me over to non-Spanish home page and sites. Hope this helps.
