Can i get some feedback and the pros and cons on living on Penang Island or residng in Butterworth

Butterworth the rent is more cheap. Because the houses price is overpriced in Penang Island.
But in Penang Island you have more jobs and also more shops.
But a good location is near the second bridge. They are building alot of apartments in Batu Kawan. Also is near from a shopping mall.

thanks for that although the prices i have seen for 2 / 3 bedroom condos on the island are only between 1000 and 1500 , a good choice of condos.
for me it is not a problem to be on the mainland
i will have a motorbike so i can travel to the island.
the thought of new housing by the south bridge sounds ideal.
