COVID-19 and expatriation in New Zealand
New Zealand is facing a lock down since last week. With 647 cases as of today and 1 death, things are yet under control. People are coping up well with the country's lock down laws besides a few towns, however, yet the situation seems under control.
Many people, like myself are working from home. The essential services like groceries, medical stores and council's services are operative.
The government has announced a wage subsidy program from which the residents have been benefited and relieved.
In general, people have been able to spend time with the families. New Zealand is a happy country and since the people are supportive towards each other, its coping well with the current situation.
