I can't find my previous post but remembered that you all wanted to know how my new ice maker worked out.
It is GREAT . We bought one that is self cleaning. It also has a little removable basket. Full, the basket has enough ice for a couple drinks. And it makes more in 6 minutes. If the basket gets too full, you can empty the ice out into a bowl and stick it in the fridge. The ice that melts just recycles back into the water reservoir. It was less that $100 on Amazon. Not sure what CPS charged me to ship it, but not too bad.
It is nice to have my freezer space back.
