Documents needed to marry Moroccan Girl

Hi All,

I am a British man and want to marry my Moroccan fiance in the next few months. Is it mandatory to get the Certificate of Non Impediment from the UK before I travel? I have already booked an appointment with the British Consulate in Rabat and they will issue an affidavit proving I am allowed to marry.

Please can someone let me know if I have to get the Certificate of Non Impediment or not ?
