Hi! I have 650,000 Ugandan shillings, but it seems you can only convert them in Uganda. If anyone would be willing to do a straight up trade for $175 US I will come to you anywhere in NYC including any of the 3 airports if you just have a layover.
Current conversion is $176 but we can check if it fluxuated the day of and adjust. I'm not trying to make any money off the transaction, I just want to convert it to a usable currency!
Anyone traveling to Uganda via NYC?

alternatively if anyone knows of a way for me to convert them in the US that I couldn't find that would be fine too - but i called the Ugandan consulate and they didn't know of any, and though my bank initially said they could if I mailed them to their central bank they then sent them back with an apology that they could not.
