I am an Indian working in Oman. My daughter's visa is expiring soon. She is expected to leave Oman to continue her studies in India. But that will be after 20 days from the date of expiry of her visa. So my query is, whether it is important to renew the visa or let the visa lapse and then exit after 20 days. Will there be an issue at the airport while leaving from Oman?
Is it possible to exit on a expired visa for a child in Oman ?

Hi munesh1407,
There is a one-month grace period which is granted before the visa requires to be renewed. Since your child is leaving the Sultanate for good, you may well avail of that waiver. However, just to be on the safe side, please consult with your company PRO whether it would be okay.

Many thanks for your reply. I in fact queried my sponsor organization about this issue and they themselves were not sure. Thus as you said to be on the safer side, I got the visa of my kid renewed nonetheless, by spending thirty odd rials.
