Where is the City Centre in Xiamen? Is it Zhongshan Lu or another area? Street name would help.

Hi, I lived there for 2 years. I don't know if there is an official city centre but I never thought of Xiamen as having one. I'm sorry if this isn't very helpful but it could depend on your perspective. The area of Marco Polo could be central to westerners, in which case I'd say Yundang Lu. Zhongshan Lu could be considered centre in tourist terms as its the famous walking street. It would be helpful in answering if I knew your purpose for needing this information.
