For me Thailand is being a good experience, I found job in Bangkok after 1 month here, there are many positions for private teachers of english, and in the school usually prefer native speakers of english, also there are many positions realated to IT.

And Thailand is also a country where life is a lot more cheap than in Hong Kong, Singapore or Japan for example.
