It's too general a request, isn't it? I can recommend an interesting reference, beyond the most obvious sources, Wikitravel and Trip Advisor. The Trip Advisor Q & A forum covers a lot of other specifics, eg. transportation issues, use of temporary sims, where to stay, etc.
It's difficult to start from no specifics to say anything though. Then again that reminds me that I did write some general advice in a Quora answer once:

I'm a parent of young children and never "party" so the scope of suggestions in that would be all wrong related to some other people's interests.
