Migratory Category? - Translation notice 30 days for visa application

Good morning all,

We are applying for our visa through the DR consulate located in California. We were notified that we needed to fill out the translation notice 30 days and return it.

On the notice is an area titled Migratory Category with check boxes label RT1 - RT9.

I did some research on google, the consulates website, as well as searching here, but am unable to find out what the categories represent so that I can check the applicable box for our request.

I asked the consulate but have yet to hear back from her.

Does anyone have any knowledge or a link to where I can find this information?

Hi Tracy,

If you are referring to the Letter of Intent (Carta de Compromiso) you'll need to check the boxes that say Visa de Residencia and RT9. This document should be filled out in blue ink.
