I am here in SA on a Retiree VISA pending my PR. Should I need to renew, then the process is the same as when I 1st applied for my Retiree VISA with the exception I do not need a Police Clearance from the USA again. Also since it is a renewal and not a change of VISA type, the process can be done in SA. All other documents (marriage, bank statements, passport etc.), are needed. The only "Police Clearance" required for renewal of my type of VISA is a SAPS clearance which is now done electronically (biometrics) at VFS offices throughout the country. Locate your nearest VFS office for more information. Best of luck.
